A New RPG by Suikoden Creators, Eiyuuden Chronicle/Hundred Heroes Announced

Story
Our story begins in one corner of Allraan, a tapestry of nations with diverse cultures and values.
By dint of sword, and by way of magical objects known as “rune-lenses,”
the land’s history has been shaped by the alliances and aggressions of the humans, beastmen, elves,
and desert people who live there.
The Galdean Empire has edged out other nations and discovered a technology that amplifies the rune-lenses’ magic.
Now, the Empire is scouring the continent for an artifact that will expand their power even further.
It is on one such expedition that Seign Kesling, a young and gifted imperial officer, and Nowa, a boy from a remote village,
meet each other and become friends.
However, a twist of fate will soon drag them into the fires of war, and force them both to reexamine everything they believe to be right and true.

Interview tidbits

The title is [Hundred Heroes], depicting each char.as heroes but not in the way that all of them are great heroes. For example, this char. has limited power but he/she is someone's aspiration because of what he/she does. A group of various power of heroes, making a big change in history.

Basically, I want to make a game that gives the players freedom how many char., who to recruit, which char.to include in the party, etc.

This time, the most important thing is how to make use all the more than 100 char. Not like strong in battle, different parameter but system that can shows individuality of every char.aside from attack.
Also in visual, not like most of the command battle JRPGs where the char.lining neatly. You can see it from the teaser, the char.are in different position depending on the situation and each char.individuality.

Still in planning but we want to make where lots of chars(like Suikoden's war battle) fighting in battle because this is game about war, so it's possible there'll be another battle system like that beside the normal one.
Also, probability for 1 vs 1 battle like in Suikoden too.
Not only 6 vs 6, multiple parties, siege, we're thinking various variation of battle.

Fortress building system.
Player building a town. For example, there is a field where the player can do agriculture, build a building, etc. If possible, we want to make a customization so each player will have different town.

Guild.
It'd be weird  for more than 100 char.gathered at the fortress to do separate things so to develop the town, the char.joining a guild to make a party to achieve an objective. Player could order multiple parties. Different char.in a guild will have unique dialogue depending on their relationship.

Main story difficulty will be adjusted so everyone can clear it.
We want to do high difficulty mode where the players need to think how to optimize/create the best party to clear each floor.

Aside from battle, we're thinking to create something like because char.A is strong, A can bring more items, has fast legs, etc. Like in Octopath Traveler where certain char.can open lock for example.

We chose to make a Kickstarter page because we want to make a game without restriction.

Development still in early phase
