Project Sekai Colorful Stage! feat.Hatsune Miku Piano

SEGA, Colorful Palette, and Crypton Future Media collaborated to create "Project Sekai Piano," which allows you to enjoy playing with your favorite characters using Yamaha's artificial intelligence (AI) ensemble technology.

The way it works is that you play the designated score of "Senbonzakura" and Hatsune Miku and Hoshino Ichika will sing along with your performance using Yamaha's AI ensemble technology.

If you can read music and have a certain level of piano experience, you can enjoy this kind of free play but of course there are many people who do not.

To make it easier for people who haven't played a piano in a long time or even for people who haven't played a piano in a long time or can't read music, the Yamaha Clavinova CSP series is equipped with a "Streamlights" function. A stream of glowing lights from the top of the keyboard help you navigate to the next key to play and the timing of the keystrokes, so that anyone familiar with rhythm games like "Project Sekai" can play the piano without much difficulty.

However, since the intermediate and higher scores require chord-based playing, we have also prepared introductory and beginner scores for this game.

The "Project Sekai Piano" will be installed at nine Yamaha music stores nationwide for about three months from 26 March to 27 June. In order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, reservations to experience the piano must be made in advance and applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

The person in charge of this project, who had no experience playing the piano himself, said that the main goal of the project was to make it easy for anyone to enjoy playing. For people who don't usually play musical instruments, it's not often that they get the chance to visit a Yamaha music store, but this project, which uses the "Project Sekai" as a point of contact to introduce people to the appeal of music, is a perfect example of the "Welcome Home, Music". I felt that this project was one of the embodiments of the philosophy of that. I also heard that they are planning various other projects, so I hope you will take a look at these as well.
