The Bandai Namco Group has launched a new project called "Gundam Seed Project ignited" for the "Mobile Suit Gundam Seed" series, which will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its TV broadcast in 2022.
GUNDAM SEED PROJECT ignited is a project that will focus on the production of the movie that have already been announced, as well as various measures for the "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" series around the world.
The movie takes place after Seed Destiny.
This project will include the installation of a life-size Freedom Gundam statue at the LaLaport Shanghai Jinqiao store in China, where the opening ceremony was held on 28 May 2021, the "GUNDAM docks at Shanghai" to be held on the same day, the development of a new game, manga serialization of the Gundam SEED MSV, "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED ECLIPSE" and gunpla.
