PS4 Has Hidden Way To Identify USB 2.0 or 3.0

The user bought a new SSD to use in PS4 but got detected as USB 2.0 so PS4 can't format it.
Finally, with internet help, he can format it by quickly inserting the USB.

As shown in the picture, USB 2.0 and 3.0 have a common contact point for 2.0 and a contact point for 3.0 at the back. If you insert it in slowly, the 3.0 contact won't be recognized by the time the confirmation process is complete, so it will start as 2.0.
If you insert it quickly, it will be recognized as 3.0 because the 3.0 contact is made within the check time.
